The government plans to simplify the import of machines and machine parts via "ex-tariffário", i.e. with duty exemption. This measure is intended to encourage new investment. The intention is to extend the derogation (note: no comparable machines are produced in Brazil) to all capital goods and to shorten the processing time for this process.
